I COACH CLUB SESSIONS

A BIT ABOUT ME

Alessia picked up a racket at ten years old, following her brother into their local club in Dublin. She still remembers her first tournament: she lost every match and cried. But she kept going, kept improving, and eventually found herself representing Ireland at European tournaments and competing on the professional circuit. For Alessia, the court is the one place where everything else falls away — no matter how bad the day, she has never stepped off a squash court feeling worse than when she stepped on.

Alessia has been coaching in various forms for the past ten years. She has worked with up-and-coming junior players at her club in Dublin and run social group sessions for players of all levels — from complete beginners through to advanced competitors. Growing up on teams and travelling to tournaments taught her that coaching happens naturally — with teammates, friends, and anyone who needs a bit of support during a match. That instinct to help others improve has always been part of how she plays the sport.

Alessia's sessions are fun, energising, and built around the player in front of her. She loves introducing beginners to the sport and watching them find their feet, but she is equally at home pushing intermediate players past a plateau or working on advanced movement and tactics with experienced competitors. Her first session is always about getting to know each other, figuring out what the player wants to achieve, and building a plan to get there.

WHAT OUR PLAYERS SAY

I wanted to try a new sport but had no idea where to start. I found Courter and the booking process was so straightforward it gave me the confidence to just go for it.

I booked a session for my nine-year-old daughter on a recommendation. She absolutely loved her first squash experience and keeps asking when she can play again.
Martha M.
I'd been looking for a female coach for ages. I wanted to get better at squash and start playing competitively but didn't know where to begin. Courter made it so easy to book — I'll definitely be booking again.
