Individual squash coaching
One coach, one player on court — a session built around what you want to work on.
Whether you've never picked up a racket, you're easing back in after a break, or you want to sharpen a specific part of your game, your coach meets you where you are. Every Courter coach is vetted, qualified, and female. Sessions are bookable online across the UK, with the court included in the price.
Who it's for
Individual coaching works for any adult player, at any level.
If you're brand new to squash, your coach starts with the basics — how to hold the racket, how to move on court, how the scoring works. You will not be tested. You will not be rushed.
If you played years ago and want to come back, your coach picks up where you left off. Expect a session that builds your fitness back gently and rebuilds the bits of your technique that have slipped.
If you already play and want to improve, you'll work on a specific part of your game — your serve, your length, your match play. Bring a goal, your coach handles the rest.
What to expect
You arrive at the venue, meet your coach, and head onto court. Most sessions begin with a short chat — what brings you here, what you'd like to work on, what you're worried about. Your coach uses this to shape the rest of the session.
From there, expect feeding drills (where the coach hits the ball to you), simple movement work, and a few rallies as you warm up. As the session goes on, your coach builds in technique points, match-style situations, or fitness — depending on what you came for.
The session ends with a brief recap. What worked, what to work on next time, and any drills you can do on your own.

How long
40, 60, or 80 minutes. Most adult players book 60 — long enough to work on something properly without leaving the court completely wiped out.
How much
From £26. Court included. No extras, no membership, no hidden costs.
Where
UK-wide. Strongest in Manchester and the North West at launch — find a venue near you.

Meet your coach
Every coach on Courter has been vetted by Courter. That means qualified and experienced with adult players at the level you book. Every coach is female.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own racket?
No. Your coach will lend you a racket and ball for your first session. If you decide to keep playing, your coach can recommend what to buy and where.
I haven't played in years — is this right for me?
Yes. Returning players are one of the types individual coaching is built for. Tell your coach how long it's been when you book, and they'll shape the session around getting you back on court comfortably.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in and clean, non-marking trainers. That's it. A water bottle helps.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
If you need to cancel or reschedule please email [email protected]. Cancellation terms are shown clearly at the point of booking.
Will my coach be female?
Yes. Every coach listed on Courter is female. That's how the platform is built.
Can I buy a session for someone else?
Yes. You can book for someone else or buy as a gift, or buy them a gift card so they can choose their own session, coach, and time. Browse gift vouchers →
