Alison Waters is one of the most successful squash players England has ever produced. Born in London, she rose to a career-high world ranking of No. 3 — among the highest any English woman has reached — across more than two decades on the professional tour before stepping away after the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Along the way she became a four-time British National Champion, winning the title in 2008, 2010, 2013 and 2014. She is a multiple Commonwealth Games medallist, taking silver and bronze at Glasgow 2014, and represented England at five Games from 2006 to 2022. She won World Team Championship gold in 2006 and 2014, and won all eleven of her European Team Championship campaigns — one of the most durable careers the game has seen, with one of the longest unbroken top-50 runs in squash history.
Alison brings the perspective of two decades spent competing against the very best in the world. Her strength is the complete game: movement, court coverage, and the consistency to build and control a point under pressure. She adapts to whoever she's working with, from those wanting to test themselves at match pace to those still building their length and movement. Train alongside her and you'll take on the habits of a player who stayed at the top for longer than almost anyone.
