I COACH CLUB SESSIONS

A BIT ABOUT ME

Sally came to squash as an adult, looking for a sport after having a baby. She quickly discovered that squash offered everything she was looking for — a fun, fast workout that never felt like hard work, with real benefits for both body and mind.

What started as a personal discovery soon became a mission to open the door for others. Sally is an England Squash Player Development Coach (Level 2), leads a women's team at City of Manchester Squash Club, sits on the committee of the North West Women's Squash League, and founded Girls in Motion, a charity dedicated to getting more women and girls playing squash. She became a coach to help others start the game and to encourage more women into leadership positions across the sport.

Sally's coaching style is warm, patient, and confidence-building. She specialises in working with beginners and improvers, creating a safe and supportive introduction to the game before building on skills at each player's own pace. If you've never set foot on a squash court, Sally will make sure your first experience is one that leaves you wanting to come back.

WHAT OUR PLAYERS SAY

Finding a female squash coach for my daughter always felt out of reach. Courter changed that overnight — suddenly there were real options, at venues we could actually get to, at times that worked. It's opened up a whole new side of the sport for her.

I loved the session with my coach — she gave just the right encouragement when I wanted to give up, and I felt my love of squash returning. Being able to choose my coach, venue, time and session length made it feel customisable. The court was already booked, so no stress.

I'd been looking for a female coach for ages. I wanted to get better at squash and start playing competitively but didn't know where to begin. Courter made it so easy to book — I'll definitely be booking again.

I booked a session for my nine-year-old daughter on a recommendation. She absolutely loved her first squash experience and keeps asking when she can play again.

I wanted to try a new sport but had no idea where to start. I found Courter and the booking process was so straightforward it gave me the confidence to just go for it.
